East of the Old City, the Night Bazaar fills Chang Khlan Road every evening, and a few streets further east the Ping River is lined with restaurants on both banks: Charoen Prathet Road on the west side, Charoenrat Road around Wat Ket on the east. It is the busiest hotel district and the stretch of river where Yi Peng krathong are floated in November.
